7th June, 4pm Hurst’s Got Talent Held at The New Inn. With thanks to Sam & Simon Nixon.
19th June – 3rd July Cuckoo in the Nest High Street Window Competition. Sponsored by Mishon Mackay and Le Louvre.
22nd June, from 12pm Pet & Dog Show Held at the Scout HQ. Sponsored by Heath Veterinary Clinic.
22nd June, 3pm Family Treasure Hunt Starting from the Scout HQ. Sponsored by Sykes Dalby & Truelove, The New Inn and Janton News.
4th July, 12.30pm Teddy Bears Picnic Bring your teddy and a picnic to the Recreation Ground on South Avenue. Sponsored by Bowley Funeral Service, Sean & Kieron Barbers, The Cook Shop, Pierpoint Pet Supplies, T’Hurst Bistro and Harris’ Fun Fair.
4th July, 6pm Children’s Disco In the marquee at the Recreation Ground on South Avenue. Tickets £2.50, refreshments and snacks included. Sponsored by Sit, Stay & Walkies and Unique Kids Parties.
4th July, 6.30pm Kids Tug of War For all under 16s – come along to South Avenue Recreation Ground for a fun Tug of War game.
4th July, 6.30pm Family BBQ A fun evening for all the family – our BBQ and Evening Extravaganza with a surprise finale at 10.10pm! Sponsored by Clive Miller.
FAIR DAY – 5th July

12.00pm Street Food Market Our Street Food Market on South Avenue is open from 12pm for a tasty snack or lunch. We have a great selection from Thai, Indian Snacks, Hot Dogs, Oven-Baked Pizza, Hog Roast, Bratwurst and Ice Creams & Sorbets.
1.00pm Procession starts… … in Marchants Road, accompanied by a peal of bells, with thanks to Holy Trinity Church. Sponsored by Burgess Hill District Lions Club.
2.00pm Procession arrives… … in the fair ground and prizes are awarded for best powered and walking entries. The Fair is announced as officially open! Our Beer Tent is this year supported by Bedlam Brewery.
2.30pm Arena Event We welcome Maracatu Cruzeiro do Sul into the Arena – be prepared for some audience participation with this Samba band and dancers!

2.50pm Long Fun Run Long Fun Run starts with a lap around the Arena and then off into the beautiful local countryside. Both the Long & Short Fun Run is sponsored by The Jog Shop, Co-Op and Gibsons Greengrocers.
2.55pm Tug of War First round of Tug of War. Thanks to Tim Jones for being our judge this year!
3.10pm Short Fun Run Short Fun Run starts with a lap around the arena and then off into the beautiful local countryside.
3.15pm Arena Event The winners of Hurst’s Got Talent 2014, Lauren & Josie, perform in the Arena.
3.20pm Tug of War Second round of Tug of War.
3.35pm Arena Event Top Hat and Tutus perform in the Arena.
3.45pm Tug of War Third round of Tug of War.
4.00pm Arena Event International Gymnastics Display.
4.20pm Tug of War Tug of War Final. The winners then compete against the Kids Tug of War winners and runner ups!
4.30pm Prize Presentations All prize presentations, including runners.
4.40pm Arena Finale Who will be crowned the 2014 St Lawrence Fair Finale champions? Get your team registered at the information tent on the day, or email stlawrencefair@gmail.com.
5.15pm Fair closes Thanks for supporting the St Lawrence Fair!
